Whoosh!

That's the sound of October going by!

And guess what?  I now have a teenage driver in my house.  Yes, Carter got his license today. He took driver's ed last spring, then had to get 50 hours of driving in six months and today was the day he was able to upgrade to a full license.  He was over the moon excited, however, our insurance wasn't excited at all.  Ugh.  On the bright side, he has proven himself to be a very conscientious driver...so far.

Last week I made an awesome dinner, good comfort food and quick and easy.  Chicken and Dumpling Casserole.  It was so good, but didn't go that far.

I also took our annual autumn pictures yesterday and the boys were pretty cooperative.  I got some good ones but had sun and smile issues.  Still, it was a good day.

Max is trying out for 7th grade basketball this week and another play in Bigfork.  Not sure if he would be able to do both, but if he doesn't make the play then he will just play basketball.

Carter's soccer team has a play off game this week against Helena.  We have played them very hard the last three times we've played them so hopefully it will go our way this week!  It would be so exciting to see them make it to state.  Carter's has played really well and gotten a lot of confidence in his position (he is playing defense right now).  It's been really fun to watch him this year!

How has your October been?
